Suresh's Fabulous Fulbright

As an alumni of the Fulbright Distinguished Awards in Teaching Program, we get the opportunities to apply for funding through the Alumni Grants Program to extend our Fulbright experience to our school and/or community through student exchanges, joint curriculum projects, electronic linkages or other projects of the teachers’ design. 

I was able to apply for Alumni grants in year 2013 and 2015 to dissemiate my Fulbright capstone project and related material in my commnity through workshops and other outreach activities.  

 

Here is the description of the alumni Grants that I have received: 

 

(i) Year 2015:

 (a) May 09’ 15 – Organized a workshop ‘Learning beyond boundaries: Exchanging activity based best lesson plans,’

(ii) Year 2013:

(a) June 26-28' 13 – Attended ‘International Conference’, Montana, USA,

(b) September 28' 13 - Organized a workshop on Game Based Teaching Model,

(c) October 29’ 13 - Developed a website on my capstone project.
