A brief bio

SCJ Professional Intrests

I teach developmental psychology to university-level students. I did my master's in Physics as well as in Education Technology. Still, I am trying to figure out how to learn new things. My inquisitiveness to know the world took me to places. I visited the US for the first time in 2012 as a Fulbright scholar. It was a research-based program that allowed me to conducted research on a self-proposed action-based capstone project for a semester at the University of Maryland.

Before Fulbright, I have taught physics to high school students for 17 years in various schools in India. My interest areas include interacting with people from different cultures. I am particularly passionate about studying the role of technology in the transfer of learning and decision making. I am a firm advocate of disseminating educational resources through ICT tools to promote e-learning in the community and society.

Research interests: Instructional design and development, technology and transfer of learning, technology and self-regulation, student engagement and learning, motivation and self-efficacy, attention, and decision making.
